PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Indore has the privilege of being one of the newest in the Bhopal Region. It came into existence in 2020.
Till 2021 PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Indore was affiliated to CBSE .
Initially, the School was started with one section in each up to the Secondary and Senior Secondary level classes started in 2023 . it was expanded section-wise up to one section in each class.
Basically, the KVS is meant for the children of the Central Govt: employees, but the children of all the categories including State Govt. and Private sectors.
